After seeing the trailer to this book, I knew that I had to read it. But what I've heard of it, was quite mixed. There were people who liked it a lot, others, who thought that it was okay and then again some, who didn't get what they expected. I just knew that the story was about some peculiar children and that the story was built around a handful of vintage photos.I think that the visual aspect was very great and I loved looking at all the photographs. But what struck me the most, was this story that was told. The characters were awesome and authentic. I especially liked Olive, who could levitate and Millard, who was invisible. The peculiarity of the children was both fascinating and adorable in a way. I know that there will be sequel, which I am already excited to read about. This novel was an experience you have to make for yourself. Just go and read it!
