I heard so many things about this book. But what I heard most was: You either hate it or you love it.I had this book on my wishlist for ages, but when I needed something new to read this one was always sorted out because the premise didn't sound as appealing as the premises of other books. Then I saw the movie trailer and that kind of intrigued me to read the book, it was also the book of the month in the Young Adult Book Club, so I really wanted to read it this month.I was in a kind of reading slump. It wasn't because the book wasn't interesting or because I thought that some parts were dull. Every time I picked this book up to read I couldn't stop. But then life got in the way and I had to put it away several times.I loved this book. I liked the twist that the main character was the normal guy, that I got to see his point of view, I liked the visions of Genevieve, I loved the budding romance that didn't seem to overpower the whole story, I loved Macon, Amma, the history of Casters, the Southern feeling, it was really a great and captivating read.I can't wait to read the next installment in the Caster Chronicles!
